We (Hope Eternal Nubians and our sister herd, Grand Design Nubians) have a small, mostly grass-based home dairy with minimal grain input. We try to source grain that is as natural as possible (non-GMO/natural/least processed), and avoid pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, and other chemicals as much as possible to prevent gut and general health imbalance.

We use herbs, essential oils, and natural remedies for everything from deworming to teat dipping, with conventional drugs used sparingly and only as a last resort.

We milk into stainless steel containers, and store our milk in glass for the cleanest milk you can get! No plastics leaching chemicals into the milk.

We milk year around, but supply varies with the natural cycles and seasons, so milk isn't as plentiful in the winter or when the kids need it. We refuse to use hormones or other artificial means to boost production.
